Description: Modern Montessori Charter School is seeking Middle School Teachers for the 2024-25 school year. This small, self-contained classroom is a multiage classroom that consists of seventh through eighth grade students. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in team teaching with one core group of students. The ideal candidate will enjoy team teaching daily while working in an innovative, supportive, dynamic educational setting and working collaboratively to develop Montessori STEM integrated curriculum. Candidates will provide a nurturing and stimulating environment to facilitate children’s growth, exploration and participation, observe the child and interpret the child’s needs and coordinate regular communication with parents regarding their children’s progress. Candidates will effectively use observations and data regularly to assess student achievement and plan instruction accordingly. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, organized, optimistic, problem solvers, adaptable, and communicate positively and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in related field
  • Valid Minnesota Teaching license
  • Montessori teacher certified preferred, or willingness to pursue
  • Knowledge of STEM best practices preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
